Rod built for red snapper fishing using a traditional "TENYA" lure. Tenya fishing is extremely popular here in japan. Using thin diameter line with a jighead shaped lure and a prawn as a trailer we catch snapper. In order to use such thin line,RUFUS'S tip is very limber. This limber tip is also necessary to prolong the soft bites produced by snappers. Length is also very important when tenya fishing. Basic action is to lift and let the lure fall naturally, and with a longer rod it is easier to draw a strike from snappers.
